I am Anna Csekőné Hajduk, a Hungarian freelance retoucher and commercial image editor. I combine photographic knowledge with precision editing, specializing in high-end product and brand retouching, from cleaning, masking, and detailed editing to professional coloring. In this section, you’ll find a longer description of my experiences, work style, future plans, and the artists who inspire my work.
Since my teenage years, I’ve been fascinated by the world of Photoshop. I love how images come to life through it. This passion led me to turn photography and image editing into my profession. Since 2021, I’ve been working as a freelance retoucher and photo editor, taking part in a wide range of projects.
For me, collaboration and trust are essential. I like to build a personal connection with my clients, understand their needs, and always deliver my best work.
I believe that a good retoucher not only edits images but also supports the photographer or client throughout every important decision. Furthermore, I’m flexible and often available on weekends.
Over the years, I’ve worked with photographers, e-commerce businesses, larger companies, and studios. Occasionally, private clients also reach out to me for help with refining their images. I truly enjoy the diversity of my work. Every project brings new challenges and opportunities to grow.
As a mother of two young children, having a flexible schedule allows me to maintain a balanced and harmonious rhythm between family life and creative work.
Expertise
My journey into the world of photography and Photoshop has evolved greatly over the years.
I hold a professional qualification in photography and learned the foundations of e-commerce image retouching from my mentor, who also taught me that sometimes you need to save seconds on every image — and that working efficiently requires custom actions and a completely different mindset than that of an average photo editor.

I have also successfully completed the "Mastering Product Retouching" course by Photigy in 2025, led by professional retoucher Artem Pissarevskiy.

Since 2021, I have focused mainly on product photography, clothing, and accessory retouching, while also working on portrait and fine art projects.
I primarily work in Adobe Photoshop, as it offers the greatest freedom and precision for detailed editing. I truly enjoy projects that require a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
I’m also skilled in Lightroom and Lightroom Classic, and have basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator as well.

Creating vector graphics, short animations, or seamless patterns is never a problem for me.
My goal is always to deliver images that look clean, natural, and professionally refined.

My retouching approach: Tools, workflow, and quality standards
I am proficient in Photoshop, adept with tools such as layers, masks, curvature tools, curves, selections, reshape tools, liquify, mixer brush, camera raw, etc. My workflow involves planning the editing process and automating repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency. I employ frequency separation in my retouching process, ensuring I do not over-smooth the low-frequency layer. I have a strong preference for naturalness in my work.
I utilize helper curves, self-made actions and clipping paths which speeds up my workflow. Prior to delivering perfect images, I conduct thorough quality checks to maintain high standards. Furthermore, I enjoy projects where the goal is to achieve professional, completely clean, and flawless images. It is challenging for me to work below this quality standard, which is why I prefer more complex projects that require greater effort over fast, high-volume work. Of course, if the clients are told that one image should take about 10 minutes, then that’s exactly how much time I’ll spend on it.
In my workflow, I also make use of AI tools, which help speed up the editing process. While AI cannot replace the precision of manual retouching in many cases, I find it very useful for background adjustments and for accelerating certain parts of my workflow, allowing me to focus more on detailed, high-quality edits.

Of course, I work with licensed software, using a digital tablet, a calibrated monitor, a reliable computer and high-speed internet, and I am also familiar with Lightroom and Adobe Bridge to expedite my work. In addition, I have been developing my skills in Illustrator and vector graphics, expanding my creative capabilities.
Future vision
I believe there is always room for improvement and growth. I continuously learn, follow current trends, and stay up to date with the latest developments in Adobe products, which I integrate into my workflow whenever possible. My goal is to keep evolving and to increasingly collaborate with creative, product- and visually focused companies where high-quality imagery is a key priority.
I really enjoy working with color and handling diverse visual tasks where detail and consistency can truly make a difference.
While I have several returning clients, I also enjoy working with studios, photographers, marketing agencies, and brand-building companies that value high-quality work on both small and large projects. This has allowed me to primarily work on a project basis, which fits my workflow best.
I aim to collaborate with creative and product-focused teams that produce premium visual content for e-commerce, campaign, or brand communication purposes.
